1989 - TIMES/ R.I.B.A. COMMUNITY ENERPRISE SCHEME :: presented by Prince Charles for “the most outstanding business museum development within a community.”

1990 - KENT ARCHAEOLOGICAL TRUST :: award for “best preservation scheme.”

1990 - KENT VILLAGE VENTURES COMPETITION :: Certificate of Merit for “active involvement in the preservation of rural community life in Kent.”

1990 - DOVER SOCIETY :: award for “a valuable contribution to the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic and public interest in Dover.”

1992 - CIVIC TRUST AWARD :: awarded for “contribution to quality and appearance on the environment.”

1997 - S.E. ENGLAND TOURIST BOARD :: award for “Tourism and Environment”

2000 - ASSOCIATION FOR INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY :: Presidents Award for “the best industrial archaeological site.”

2005 - TRIANGLE AWARD :: recognising achievements of young people - presented to Mill volunteer as “overall winner of citizenship and environment.”
